If any of your Method Lights products are not working normally follow the tips below:

ML-Direct Plus:

1. Make sure the remote control battery is fully charged. You will see a RED light flash in the upper left-hand corner when any button is pressed. This means the remote is working.
2. Make sure you are pointing the remote at the unit. You will see a GREEN light flash from the body of the ML-Direct Plus when you press a button on hte remote. This means the unit is reciving the remote control signal.
3. If the unit is not responding turn off power for 10 seconds. If the unit is still not responding unscrew it and then replace after 10 seconds.

ML200 Plus:

1.  Make sure the battery is fully charged in both the ML200 Plus and the remote.

  • Remote control: You will see a RED light flash in the upper left-hand corner when any button is pressed. This means the remote is working. 
  • Battery Pack: Charge the battery pack for a minimum of eight hours on the first charge. The battery will be fully charged at this point and can be used normally. If the GREEN indicator light does not come on the battery is charged but the unit may need to be Rebooted to get the GREEN indicator light to function. (Follow the Reboot instructions below)

2. Make sure you are pointing the remote at the IR window. The square window on the back of the unit.

3. If your ML200 Plus is not responding to the remote it may need a rebooted. (Follow the Reboot instructions below)

4. ML-200 Plus Reboot instructions:

1. Remove the battery pack from the unit.
2. Gently pull on battery wires until you reach the plug.
3. Unplug the battery from the unit
4. Wait 10 seconds
5. Plug the battery back in.
6. Plug the AC Adapter/Charger into the outlet first and then plug it into the ML200 Plus charging port.
7. The unit should work normally with the remote at this point.

ML-EZ Charger Kit:

1. Make sure that parts “A” and “B” are correctly in place.
2. Make sure the extension cord is connected.
3. Make sure the Ac Adapter/Charger is plugged in and that the outlet is working.
